I’m Tyson Ostlund, though most people now know me simply as Baba Tyson. My path has not been ordinary. For years, I lived a life consumed by chasing money, possessions, and status. By my teens I was already fully immersed in selling drugs, believing that material success would bring fulfillment. After my father passed away in 2013, my life spiraled into heroin and cocaine addiction that nearly killed me.

At one point, my arms were covered in open septic wounds from infections at the injection points of heroin and cocaine. I was facing death directly. In that moment, I surrendered completely, willing to let go of everything, even my life.

From that point on, I was guided by synchronicities. I followed my intuition absolutely, no matter how unreasonable it looked or how life-threatening it seemed, including refusing all medical attention and fully accepting death. That surrender became the doorway.

As I surrendered, my Kundalini began rising. Life mirrored my inner world back to me, manifesting constant fear in external circumstances. Every situation showed me what I needed to dissolve within myself. The fears were never “out there,” they were reflections of my belief systems. By seeing through those beliefs and releasing them, I dissolved fear at its root.

Only then did the gateway open. Samadhi is not the overcoming of fear, it is the realization of transcending fear and fully surrendering. It is the culmination of Kundalini rising, when the energy reaches the crown, the Sahasrara chakra, and opens it fully. Samadhi is a death, but not of the body, it is the death of the ego. In that state, individual Consciousness dissolves into Source — Universal Consciousness.

What I experienced in Samadhi was a profound remembrance of truth and unity: that all separation is an illusion, that bliss is our natural state of being, and that we experience it when we come into total alignment with our true self, our authentic self, our highest frequency of authenticity.

After my awakening, my entire relationship to life transformed. I no longer care about money or possessions. I gave away my worldly belongings, keeping only a few essentials I needed in the immediate moment, and I gave all the money I had to people living on the street. I choose a life of simplicity, carrying only a backpack, traveling the world without attachment, and living as a reminder that true freedom is not found in accumulation, but in surrender and authenticity.

Born from my experience, I created The Package, not as a philosophy or framework, but as the user’s manual for existence. It distills the intuitive process that brought me into full alignment with my higher self, so that anyone who is willing can raise their vibration, dissolve fear, and step into their authentic frequency. With enough willingness, this same path can open the door to Kundalini awakening and Samadhi.

My mission is simple: to share what I have lived and embodied, that true freedom is not found in chasing external success, but in raising your frequency, aligning with your higher self, and remembering your unity with Source — Universal Consciousness.
